Radhika Shah is Co-President of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs (Entrepreneurship, Tech Innovation, Investing to help the Stanford community/society). She is an Advisor to the Sustainable Development Goals Philanthropy Platform (SDGPhilanthropy.org), a tech angel investor/impact investor, advisor to a fund of Impact Funds and community builder. She is passionate about civic engagement, transformative social, system-level change, innovation & collective action – to solve major social & environmental problems – leveraging tech and the global SDG framework. She has been an advisor/mentor/judge at student Accelerators Startx (Stanford) & SkydeckLabs (Berkeley). She was part of the early product team at Broadvision in the early days of the Internet. She is an advisor to the Business and Human Rights Resource Center, Cofounded and led the former Ashoka.org Silicon Valley where she built a community deeply engaged with Ashoka Fellows from around the world. Having grown up in the backdrop/influence of the Gandhi Ashram in India – women’s rights, education, and a dignified life for the vulnerable in society are causes she has always deeply resonated with. She is on the SV Leadership Council for Action for India, a platform helping social entrepreneurs scale. Radhika is a sv advisor/mentor to CGNetSwara.org (a mobile citizen journalism solution to empower tribal Indians), Samasource.org (bringing digital micro-work to marginalized communities) and a founding volunteer of mentoring group RajeevCircle.org. She has been a judge and co-convener of the United Nations Solutions Summit and at the US SBA Accelerator Competition. Radhika holds a Stanford MS Computer Science, and a Berkeley MBA and is often a speaker at Stanford, TIECON, The Global Entrepreneurship summit etc. She was a Co-chair of Tech4Obama.
