B. Narasimha Murthy is a distinguished educational leader and author. He coordinated the establishment of the Sri Sathya Sai University Campus at Muddenahalli, in the Chikballapur District of the state of Karnataka, India, and since 2011 has served as secretary of the board of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust, Alike and Muddenahalli, which administers a number of respected educational institutions ranging from middle school to university level on the Alike and Muddenahalli campuses. For many years, Mr. Murthy served as the Chief Warden of Sri Sathya Sai University Hostels at both the Prashanti Nilayam campus, Andhra Pradesh, and the Brindavan campus, Bangalore. He first came to Muddenahalli as founding secretary responsible for the development of Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva educational and social service institutions on the Sathya Sai Grama campus. Mr. Murthy was also Convener of the Sri Sathya Sai Vriddhashrama (home for the aged), Whiteﬁeld; and Secretary of the Brindavan Bhakta Sahayaka Sangha of the Sri Sathya Sai Sadhana Trust, Brindavan. Other positions have included admissions director for Loka Seva Vrinda, Alike and co-editor of its magazine Sevamrita. He began his career in education as Lecturer at the Manipal Engineering College, Karnataka.
